Syracuse Athletic Director Wrote Player’s Essay
Syracuse was recently handed heavy penalties for having athletes play while ineligible. The charges included having an athletic director and a receptionist rewrite an essay for one of the nation’s top players so he could remain eligible. Athletic directors should not be writing students essays; that could distract them from all that work covering up sexual assault allegations.
