My friends have been working on documentary about Time Banking. An alternative currency that is gaining traction and is actually a legitimate venture.
I’ll let them tell you about it:
“Greetings all! Mark and I have been working on a documentary about time banking over the last 2 years. To date, we have spent $0 federal dollars on the making of this feature-length film. It has been funded with time, time dollars (the currency of time banking) and a whole lot of love! We are in the running for a grant, which would help us cover film festival entry fees, promotions, and distribution costs, which would cost federal dollars. We need your vote to help us out! Voting ends May 31st.

ABOUT TIME BANKING
Time banking is a service exchange program where time is used as the currency. (If I give you a ride to the airport, you give me a time dollar. Then, I can take that time dollar and receive a drawing lesson from another member.) Exchanges between members strengthens the networks that help local communities thrive. Time banking is a real solution to empowering communities when funds are lacking and budgets are cut.
