Stolen Dennis The Menace Statue Found Across The Country, 9 Years Later
In 2006, a Dennis the Menace statue was stolen from a Monterey, CA playground. The city offered a $5,000 reward for anyone who could return the 3.5-ft tall statue, worth 30k. Nearly a decade later, someone found the statue in Orlando and returned it. No word on who returned the statue, how it made its way to Florida, or most importantly, why anyone ever funded building a statue of Dennis the Menace in the first place.
