Starbucks Moving Towards Adult Sippy Cups

Starbucks announced that they will eliminate all plastic straws and replace them with “adult sippy cup” lids by the year 2020. No that sippy lid isn’t going to stir your drink for you, but Starbucks estimates this change will help to eliminate more than 1 billion plastic straws globally per year, most of which ends up in landfills and the ocean. So, buy your own plastic straws somewhere else and make that pollution happen on YOUR terms!
