Sports Networks To Start Charging Separately For Sports

When you read those lists of what you pay for sports cable channels, you probably justify it because you get live games out of it. Well, not anymore. Fox Sports 1, which just celebrated a disappointing one year anniversary, will be blacking out college football games from Dish Network next week. According to the satcaster, Fox wants Dish to pay more for big events even though they already pay for the channel, which they refused. Losing some college football games may not seem like much, but it’s a disturbing concept with most of baseball’s postseason moving to FS1 this October.
