SNL Will Be Live Tonight Despite Historic Snowstorm in New York City

Rhonda Rousey Hosting SNL Tonight

New York is in the grips of Winter Storm Jonas, the Mayor of New York City is telling everyone to stay home, the Governor of New York State is having a state of emergency, but none of these things will stop Saturday Night Live from airing a live show tonight. Word from a spokesperson from SNL says the show will go on. But will there be an audience? With travel bans, and even some transit being shut down as the snow continues to rain down, will Saturday Night Live be able to fill the seats at iconic studio 8H? Seems like a great night for New Yorkers to hang around the stand by line.

Ronda Rousey and Selena Gomez will be hosting and you can expect that the SNL writers room is busy re-watching the Mayor’s press conference this morning, Governor Christie’s addresses, and other coverage of Snowpocalypse2016.

Aidy Bryant and Leslie Jones shared some photos on Twitter this morning. Bryan tweeted some snowfall outside her home, with the caption “Very Chill Ass Snow Gumdrop” while Leslie Jones wrote “how the fuck am I gonna make it to work!? Geeeeeeeeze New York!”
