Shooting Victim Propped Up In Chair At Funeral

When Fernando de Jesús Díaz Beato was shot 15 times and killed his family wanted to have a funeral that stood out from the rest. They had the body embalmed and they propped him up in a chair, fully dressed with his favorite black hat and what looks like a blunt in his hand. The Marin Funeral Home specializes in these kind of funerals and have already done 9 of them. They claimed that his mother was emotional but really calmed down when she saw her embalmed son. They also kept his eyes open “as a nice surprise for everyone”. This had to be really confusing for some of the older people.
