While spending 24 hours inside of an elevator in Oxford Union as a performance piece, actor Shia LaBeouf was greeted by a student with the strangest request. The student said to LaBeouf “I’m a performance artist. Can you help me with completion of my next piece by punching me in the face?” At first LaBeouf denied the request, but once the elevator doors closed, a loud smack was heard from inside. Art has become a lot more violent in recent years.
