And The Second Adrian Peterson Allegation Has Dropped

You know how when there’s one controversy, a related story is bound to pop up? That’s what has happened to Adrian Peterson following Friday’s indictment. KHOU 11 reports there was another investigation by Child Protective Services after an incident last July. The mother of a second child filed a complaint with CPS after her four-year-old son received a head wound during punishment for cussing at a sibling. Peterson then sent the following texts:

Mother: “What happened to his head?”
Peterson: “Hit his head on the Carseat.”
Mother: “How does that happen, he got a whoopin in the car.”
Peterson: “Yep.”
Mother: “Why?”
Peterson: “I felt so bad. But he did it his self.”

Peterson: “Be still n take ya whooping he would have saved the scare (scar). He aight (all right)”

The texts never indicate what he struck the child with, but the incident reportedly left a scar above his right eye. CPS did not pursue charges, but the prosecution in his current trial could use it as evidence.
