Seahawks License On “12th Man” Is Up Next Year
It’s time for the Seattle Seahawks to start negotiating renewing their license on the phrase “12th Man” used to describe their fan base. The Seahawks have been paying $5000 a year to the Texas A&M Aggies who have the copyright on it. Reports are that A&M is going to raise the price next year to renew the deal. Seattle is toying with the idea of the “13th Man” – the 12th man’s friend who is also really loud at games.
