‘Saturday Night Live’ Drops To Season Low

Despite having one of the funnier shows of the season, SNL ratings dropped to the lowest of this season. According to Deadline, this weekend’s show featuring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as the host, was down in the key 18 – 40 demographic. The show featured hysterical sketches that were talked about online including Kate McKinnon debuting her spot-on Robert Durst impression, Pete Davidson in an outrageous sketch where he had his lips on the Rock’s bare ass and digital shorts parodying Starbucks’ “Race Together” campaign and Disney’s “Bambi” made into an action film.

Deadline contributed the lower ratings to NBC’s weak programming leading into Saturday Night Live with championship figure skating, the weather warming up and the two week lay off since the last live SNL.

Maybe people are really pissed that the host’s cousin is getting too much of a WWE push.
