Russian Crime Ring Steals Over A Billion Internet Passwords

matrix-32Hackers based in a small city in south central Russia has pulled the biggest crime of its kind – stealing 1.2 billion internet credentials. The records included confidential material from 420,000 websites, such as 1.2 billion username and password combinations and more than 500 million email addresses. It might be time to stop using your pet’s name or your birthday as your password.
