Is This Big Papi Bobblehead Racially Insensitive?

The president of the Red Sox cancelled a Big Papi bobblehead giveaway after seeing the figurines and deeming them racially insensitive. The problem is, Big Papi’s a Dominican dude, he’s not black, so it’s technically not racist. Now, if they put a plantain in his hand in place of a microphone, that would have been bad.
