Vladimir Putin was named the most powerful man in the world according to Forbes Magazine. Forbes explains ““Putin continues to prove he’s one of the few men in the world powerful enough to do what he wants — and get away with it”.
The top five are as follows:
1. Vladimir Putin
2. German Chancellor Angela Merkel
3. President Obama,
4. Pope Francis and
5. Chinese leader Xi Jinping
Forbes also mention that “the United States remains the world’s greatest economic, cultural, diplomatic, technological and military power”, but totally lacks that bad boy appeal that Russia has.
