Power of Guilt: Guilt-Ridden Dude Returns Library Books After 52 Years
A man who checked out two books for his high school speech class in ’63 returned the books to his library after five decades. The man, who did not ID himself, apologized profusely in his note and said “it is now time” for the books to “go back home.” The school library said that they don’t issue fines for lateness and they didn’t even realize the two outdated books were missing. So, basically, this guy’s just been feeling really guilty for 50 years for nothin’.
