Pope Francis may follow his predecessor Pope Benedict XVI and resign in the next 2 to 3 years. He told Mexican television he didn’t expect his Papacy to be very long. “Four or five years,” he told Televisa. “I do not know, even two or three. Two have already passed. It is a somewhat vague sensation. Maybe it’s like the psychology of the gambler who convinces himself he will lose, so he won’t be disappointed and if he wins, is happy. I do not know.”
We’ve now reached the point where NBA coaches keep their jobs longer than Popes.
