It’s come out that Paul Manafort met with Julian Assange in London in the Ecuadorian Embassy multiple times, including just months before WikiLeaks released the Russian’s hacked Democrat emails. Maybe he was just bringing Julian a cheeseburger and wanted some good conversation.
