NYPD Thinks Resisting Arrest Should Be a Felony

NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton wants to turn the already murky crime of ‘resisting arrest’ which can be used to punish a wide range of behaviors into a felony punishable by long prison terms and of course, a felony record.
File this under “wake up they are coming to take our guns” or “it’s time the cops stood up to these thugs” depending on the color of the perp.
