North Dakota College Finally Has A New Name!

The University of North Dakota has long been subjected to protests and outrage against’s it’s school nickname – The Fighting Sioux. The Sioux tribe has tried for years to get the school to change it’s name and now the battle is finally over. North Dakota has a new nickname that’s totally not boring – meet The Fighting Hawks. The name was chosen after a several rounds of voting that included the Nodaks, North Stars, Roughriders, and Sundogs. The final round featured The Fighting Hawks nickname pinned against the Roughriders. Every frat bro at the school was “so bummed” to find out that the school didn’t change it’s name to the Roughriders.
