Steelers RB DeAngelo Williams is passionate about breast cancer awareness. He lost his mother and four aunts to the disease. His pink-highlighted dreds were included in the last Madden game. So he’d like to wear pink all season long.
Guess what the NFL said? According to MNF’s Lisa Salters, the NFL declined Williams request to wear pink all season.
So what if The Shield is limiting social causes to a set marketable period? At least we know their displays of patriotism are real and totally not paid for by the military.
