It’s An NFL Free Agency Bonanza!

The NFL Free Agency period has opened and the moves have been fast and furious. In just a few hours, blockbuster signings have happened and even more rumors are swirling. Shady McCoy to the Bills was just the start of this shake up:

Sam Bradford To The Eagles

Perpetually hurt QB Sam Bradford is going to the eagles in exchange for Nick Foles and a draft pick. This is all part of Chip Kelly’s master plan to…well, no one’s really sure what he’s up to.

Jimmy Graham To The Seahawks

Drew Brees’s favorite target, Jimmy Graham, has been shipped to Seattle in exchange for center Max Unger and multiple draft picks. Unger only played six games last year but the Saints must love him. They also love dumping Jimmy’s salary on the ‘Hawks.

Shane Vereen To The Giants

Patriot’s running back Shane Vereen is heading to Giant country, he’s signed a contract with the New York team. Somehow this all plays into the 4 Year Theory that the Giants will once again win the Superbowl in 2016.

Frank Gore And Possibly Andre Johnson To The Colts

After pulling out of a handshake deal with the Eagles, Frank Gore has signed with the Indianapolis Colts. Part of his contract makes him have to grow a neckbeard so he can match Luck once the season starts.

Also, thanks to the rumor mill, former Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson is looking to sign with the Colts as well and will be wined and dined by them this evening.

Torrey Smith To The 49ers

The 49ers are signing another former Baltimore wide receiver, Torrey Smith. Though he may be nervous as who’s going to throw to him since one rumor is saying the 49ers are shopping around Kaepernick. Maybe they can pick up Rex Grossman, he certainly isn’t up to anything.

Here lies the saddest news of this first day of free agency, NFL great Jake Locker is hanging it all up. Probably to open a franchise restaurant of some sort.
