A new book features never before seen pictures of David Bowie from photographer Steve Shapiro. Most of the images where taken during a 1974 photo-shoot that lasted from 4pm until dawn the next morning. Shapiro, 82, says David Bowie gave him the blessing for the pictures to be released before his death last January. No one could pull off vertical stripes like David Bowie. No one.
