Netflix Movies Won’t Screen At Cannes

Netflix does not have any movies to screen at Cannes and even if they did, they wouldn’t bring anything anyway. The streaming company has been at odds with Cannes since the 2017 festival and it’s all over French laws about streaming vs theatrical release dates and Canne’s wanting to preserve the French cinema culture. If Netflix gets it’s way, Film festivals will just be nerd bloggers binge watching movies in their underwear at home.
