Nestle Working On Candy With 40% Less Sugar
Nestle will start rolling out candy with less sugar starting in 2018 and plans on removing as much as 40%. Part of the method to do so is by using “sugar crystals to dissolve more quickly, which stimulates the taste buds faster”. No word on if they will be doing this with other products, but they are currently trying to do the same with salt. Some people will eat the same amount as usual and take the win, others will take this as the right to eat twice as much.
