Nerdist Presents “Batman’s Parents Aren’t Dead”

It turns out that Bruce Wayne has been living a lie without knowing it. That night, years ago when he watched his parents gunned down by a criminal was all a clever deception.

In this new short from Nerdist, we find out that Bruce never had to become Batman to avenge his parents’ deaths. They faked the whole thing and now they’re back. Thomas and Martha Wayne had gotten in deep with some mob bosses, so they staged their own murders to go underground. In the meantime, their son has been dressing up in a cape and cowl, talking like he’s a chain smoker and going around “Batmanning” people. The Waynes aren’t too thrilled to find out what’s been going on while they’ve been away. On the bright side, he did take out the mobsters that his parents owed a huge amount of money.

Also, someone should let Alfred the Butler know that Mr. and Mrs. Wayne are still alive.
