NBC Staffers Are Skipping Out On The Olympics

Some staff members over at NBC are refusing to travel to Rio for the 2016 summer Olympics over fear of the Zika virus. One staffer said her reasoning was she has “a family”. She added “I have small children and for me, at least, the trip seems too risky. I might want to get pregnant soon.” Some people are afraid a situation like this may lead to athletes also choosing not to go as well. The good news is that the stadiums still aren’t finished so they can incorporate a giant mosquito net into all of them!
