NBA Considering a Mid-Season Tournament

NBA commissioner Adam Silver talked about the idea of the NBA adding a tournament during the regular season similar to ones played in European soccer leagues. Silver had no details on what the mid-season tournament would entail, but the plan is to use it to break up the boredom during the regular season and give teams something to compete for that don’t make it into the playoffs.
