NASA Is About To Test A Planetary Defense System To Knock Out Incoming Asteroids

NASA is going to test a planetary defense system they’re calling the Double Asteroid Redirect Test which will involved crashing a probe into a small asteroid orbiting a larger one that could propel the smaller asteroid into knocking the large one off course. Or they could just send a bunch of deep sea oil drillers out there to see what they can do.
