More And More Websites Are Getting Sick Of Their Own Comment Sections

One website after another are beginning to turn off, or at least heavily screen their comment sections due to the ridiculous amount of vitriol, trolling and hatred being spewed in them. Motherboard, The Verge and the Daily Beast have all shut down their comment sections. How will people express their conspiracy theories and hate speech if they can’t do it on the internet? We may see the rise again of Zine’s and newsletters.
