@midnight Coming to New York City for the NY Comedy Festival

at midnight

@midnight, the late night comedy game show, has just been added to the 2014 New York Comedy Festival lineup. They will be taping a week of shows that will air Monday, November 3rd through Thursday, November 6th at Midnight Eastern and Pacific Time.

Hosted by Chris Hardwick, @midnight brings in a new slate of three great comedians every night to do battle over the funniest take on each day’s social media and pop culture trends. From the latest celebrity Instagram shots to the creepiest Craigslist posting to Buzzspeed lists and infamous #HashtagWars, the panel of comedians ‘compete’ for points. For the New York tapings, Hardwick says there will be visual and textual nods to the Big Apple and the comedians scheduled to appear will also fit the New York City vibe. ‘Sure, we get a lot of comedians to come onto our show in Los Angeles, but we felt in order to get the choicest, juiciest comedy specimens we needed to go straight to the nest where they live and breed–The New York Comedy Festival,” said Hardwick.

@midnight airs Monday through Thursday at Midnight Eastern and Pacific time. The 2014 New York Comedy Festival is presented in association with Comedy Central and takes place from November 5-9. Now in its eleventh year, the festival is produced by Carolines on Broadway.
