Men Called By Their Last Name Get Career Boost Over Women

Cornell University found that men are more likely to be called by their surname and those who are, are more likely to get ahead in their career than a woman who is referred to by their last name. The researchers also found that this adds to workplace gender inequality. Unfortunately, there is no research on the success of those people who still go buy their college nickname in the workplace.
