Marines May Be Ditching Their Famous Slogan

Everybody knows “The Few, The Proud, The Marines” tagline you have seen on TV and in magazines since 1977 but now you may not be seeing it much longer. Lt. Col. John Caldwell said that the slogan is great but it “doesn’t say anything about what we do or why we exist”. J. Walter Thompson, the agency that created the tagline is already coming up with a new one. Unfortunately now that Arby’s has taken “We have the meats” the best slogan of all time is taken.
