Man Has His Hand Sewn Into His Stomach After Accident
Carlos Mariotti a 42-year-old Brazilian suffered a horrifying work accident that left his hand mangled. Instead of amputating the limb, however, doctors sewed Mariotti’s hand into a pocket inside his abdomen so that the tendons won’t rot away and can heal properly. Mariotti has to keep his hand and move his fingers in his belly for six weeks, but is grateful because for the first time he can finally feel his inner six-pack.
