Magic Johnson Takes Over As President Of LA Lakers Basketball Operations

The Lakers relieved Mitch Kupchak of his duties as General Manager, and Jim Buss will no longer serve as Executive Vice-President of Basketball Operations. Laker legend Magic Johnson who helped bring the team 5 rings during his time with Los Angeles will be the new Lakers President of Basketball Operations only a few weeks after being named an adviser in “all areas of basketball and business,” Hopefully this “President” doesn’t cause people to protest outside the Staples Center.
