Los Angeles Trying to Conserve Water By Releasing 96 Million ‘Shade Balls’
Yesterday, the Los Angeles Mayor released the final 20,000 of LA’s 96 million ‘shade balls’ into the Los Angeles Reservoir. The huge ball pit apparently blocks the sun from hitting the water and creating chlorine fumes that contribute to the city’s massive drought. We finally have a global warming solution: Cover everyone head-to-toe with shade balls.
