Long Island Woman Uses “Pioneer” Defense For Why She Says Racial Slurs

A Long Island woman, who is running for public office, is now defending her use of the n word. She was recorded saying it on a call with police when she was reporting a disturbance. This is how she defended herself:

“I came into this neighborhood colorblind,” she told the paper. “When you are a pioneer, like I am, it’s not easy. I’m the only white person who owns and lives on this street.”

She says she single-handedly transformed her block for the better. Which, according to old Long Island law, give you the OK to be as racist as you want to be.
