Who is On Late Night Tonight in Comedy: Week of August 14, 2017

Who’s on Late Night Tonight in Comedy?

Do yourself a favor. Instead of checking out the news of the day before you go bed, tune in to some late night comedy this week. We could all use some laughs. Quick note, the Daily Show with Trevor Noah is off all week and since Comedy Central isn’t running any repeats of the Daily Show, you can use the time to enjoy some South Park reruns. Now here’s some late night comedy highlights for the week of August 14th.

On Monday, making his late night debut, it’s The Mooch! Anthony Scaramucci will sit down with the best politically minded late night talk show host working today, Stephen Colbert. And the great part for Colbert?? It’s the real Mooch too, not Mario Cantone or Bill Hader. So he’s probably not going to be as funny as those two, but it will be interesting to see what happens when one the country’s biggest Trump cheerleaders sits down with one of the country’s biggest Trump detractors.

Tuesday gives us a plenty of highlights including a couple from Jimmy Kimmel Live. On the comedy front, get ready to congratulate Charles Gould for making his late night television comedy debut on JKL. Charles just received a rave review for his performance in Montreal as one of the Just For Laughs Festival’s New Faces of Comedy 2017. Looks like a lot more people will be getting a good look at Charles Gould’s new face. And in a non-comedy highlight, it’s Floyd “Money” Mayweather talking with Jimmy K. The champ will be on JKL promoting his upcoming fight against Conor McGregor and with Floyd’s filter set to zero and Kimmel not afraid to ask an uncomfortable question, this show could be what everyone is talking about the next day.

Also on Tuesday, the very, very funny Tiffany Haddish sits down with Stephen Colbert, plus the star of The Chris Gethard Show, Chris Gethard is a guest on Conan and our favorite Donald Trump, Anthony Atamanuik from The President Show on CC, will be on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Moving to Wednesday, Colbert has an American original in the guest chair when the Diceman, Andrew Dice Clay comes to the Late Show. Plus, watch for a comedian that we and Team Coco both love, Dan St. Germain on Conan.
