Labyrinth Sequel Is In The Works

The 1986 movie Labyrinth is getting a sequel to be produced by The Jim Henson company and helmed by Fede Álvarez, the filmmaker behind last year’s sleeper hit Don’t Breathe. The movie won’t be a reboot or remake, but a continuation of the story already told by the original. As of now, there won’t be a portrayal of David Bowie’s Goblin King character. Maybe one day Hollywood will decide to write an original movie that isn’t a sequel, reboot, or superhero-related for the first time since 2002.
