Kids Are Getting Tommy John Surgeries In Record Numbers

“Our results showed that 15-19 year-olds accounted for 56.7 percent of the Ulnar Collateral Ligament Reconstruction (UCLR) or Tommy John surgeries performed in the U.S. between 2007-2011.”
They grow up so fast. One day they are throwing the deuce in little league and before you know it they are getting their little elbows rewired.
This should not be confused with Tommy Johnagin surgery which has absolutely nothing to do with sports.
