Kevin Bacon Has Issues in New ‘Comedy Bang! Bang!’ Preview

In anticipation of the premiere of Comedy Bang! Bang!’s fifth season, IFC has released a preview from the season’s first episode. In the clip, host Scott Aukerman and new band leader Weird Al Yankovic are joined by actor Kevin Bacon. Aukerman asks Bacon about his father’s career as a city planner, and Bacon reveals that he’s actually been working on designing a city of his own: Kevintown.

Kevintown, you see, is Bacon’s perfect world, where he is mayor, lives in a castle, and travels to City Hall for important meetings via water slide. Everyone in Kevintown has jobs at the local pizza place (the town’s only restaurant) and is generally just really nice to each other. Aukerman’s questions, however, call into question the feasibility of Kevintown, which obviously opens some old wounds for Bacon.

The clip is hilarious and surreal and everything that Comedy Bang! Bang! is good at, so check out the clip below and then attempt to go into a brief hibernation period until the show’s premiere on June 3rd, which will also feature special guest Ben Schwartz.
