Keith Olbermann Calls For Boycotts Of The NFL Draft And The Mayweather – Pacquiao Fight

ESPN’s Keith Olbermann won’t be watching the upcoming NFL Draft on Thursday or the Floyd Mayweather – Manny Pacquiao championship boxing match on Saturday. His reason is because both FSU quarterback Jameis Winston (expected to go first in the draft) and Floyd Mayweather have a history of violence against women. Winston is facing a civil suit from a woman accusing him of sexual assault among other accusations that local Florida prosecutors refused to bring charges on. And Floyd Mayweather has 5 convictions involving assault and battery against women which have never derailed his boxing career. Olbermann also says he refuses to cover either sporting event. So on Monday, May 4th, watch Olbermann for plenty of extra coverage of the LPGA’s Volunteers of America North Texas Shoot Out Ladies Golf Tournament in Irving, Texas. He’ll have time to fill.
