Jeremy Lin is a Terrible Prankster

Jeremy Lin, Brooklyn Nets point guard and the forefather of “Linsanity,” has decided to try his hand at comedy.

Lin has teamed up with Comedy Central for the first episode of their new web series Viralocity. The show follows the day-to-day workings of Viralocity, a fictional branding/marketing agency that teams up with celebrities and athletes to create viral content on their behalf. While the company excels at making these videos go viral, it’s not always for the right reasons. As it turns out, there may be such a thing as bad publicity. In the clip below, Lin and two Viralocity employees set up a candid camera prank at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, offering free merchandise to fans who pass by. As you can probably guess, this does not go well.
