Jada Pinkett, Spike Lee Talking About Oscar Boycotts on Social Media #MLKDay
Jada Pinkett has a lot to say on Twitter about the widely discussed fact that the Oscar nominations are looking very white again this year. After mentioning that the Oscars have plenty of people of color who are presenting and entertaining during the show but not up for the awards, and then asks “Should people of color refrain from participating all together?” implying a possible boycott of this years awards ceremony. Spike Lee made his boycott official on his instagram this morning.
We feel you guys, but if makes you feel any better the Razzies all pretty damn white too.
