Did you love Interstellar? Do you think you need to see it again to get all that science stuff? Have you been putting it off? Well, here is your chance to watch it over and over again, as many times as you want…if you see it in an AMC theater. This morning it was announced by Paramount Pictures that they are partnering with AMC Stubs Membership to give the first ever “unlimited tickets” to Interstellar.

Elizabeth Frank, executive vice president and chief content and programming officer, AMC Theatres is quoted in the Paramount Press Release stating “Christopher Nolan has created a masterpiece that movie fans are saying gets better every time they see it.” With that concept in mind, audiences can plan to see Interstellar to their heart’s content…in any format, time, or AMC theater they like.

Depending on your location, tickets are being sold (in limited quantity) at a cost that ranges from $19.99 to $34.99. Have you already seen the movie and plan to see it again? If you buy a single ticket and want to upgrade (even after seeing it) you can pay $14.99 to upgrade to unlimited. And if you were one of many who already saw the film? According to Paramount’s official statement “Any AMC Stubs member who used their Stubs card at the time they purchased a ticket to Interstellar since it opened, is eligible for the upgrade to the Unlimited Ticket.”

So it seems that AMC is poised to be official theater of Interstellar, an unexpected development this year. Based on the success of this program, we could see the same with other tentpole movies that have repeat viewship. But the price isn’t the only aspect of Interstellar which plays a role in people heading back to theaters again and again. The film is very long, and with more films coming out over the next few weeks, there could be too much competition.

Are you planning to see Interstellar multiple times in theater…Would you ever buy an Unlimited ticket?
