Inmates Who Made Rap Video Together Each Get Solitary Confinement
Seven South Carolina inmates made the “first ever music video in prison.” The harmonizing, beat-boxing “I’m on fire!” track filmed in a prison cell in 2014 went viral on World Star Hip Hop, but the prison punished the group. The inmates got an average of 1,000 days each in solitary confinement for the video. We can’t wait for the reunion tour once they can get the band back together.
