India Tries To Ban Porn, Then Decides To Watch Porn
Indian government officials this week announced their plan to ban 857 pornography websites in the country to “protect morality and decency in the society.” Citizens pushed back, saying that it was a violation of free speech for the population of 1.25 billion people. Today, Indian officials announced that they will withdraw the ban, and only ban sites that promote child pornography. Most Indian residents are expected to take the day off to celebrate with their laptops in private.
