The Hippest and Hottest Holiday Party in Town Coming to IFC

Earlier this month, Joe’s Pub in New York City hosted the hippest holiday party in town. The legendary club was packed to the limits as lucky guests gathered to celebrate the holiday season with some of the coolest kids in town. It was the merriest of events with bottles of wine, champagne and specialty cocktails were passed all night long while partygoers reveled in music, comedy and wall to wall holiday cheer.

If you didn’t get an invite, you’ll get your chance to join the celebration on Wednesday, December 21st at 10pm when IFC airs the hour special, Joe’s Pub Presents: A Holiday Special.

Mix yourself some holiday cocktails or grab your Chardonnay and settle in to watch Tony Hale host the hour along with our favorite comedy cabaret artist, Bridget Everett who looked dazzling in silver sequins. Holiday themed performances include appearances from comedy favorites Jen Kirkman, Matteo Lane, Judah Friedlander, Isaac Oliver, and Jordan Carlos spreading holiday cheer, and there were musical performances from Lisa Loeb and Kurt Vile.

As if that slate wasn’t enough, Joe’s and IFC went all in to book the coolest house band in town. It was a real Christmas miracle to see the Dap-Kings all perform together for the first time in public following the death of lead singer Sharon Jones last month.

Invite your friends, start drinking early, and prepare to learn the true meaning of trimming your Christmas tree with Joe’s Pub Presents: A Holiday Special, airing Wednesday, December 21 at 10pm on IFC. This may very well be the best holiday special since Rudolph first aired, and we hope it will become an IFC/Joe’s Pub annual tradition.

Here’s a first-look at the festive special:
