Hey Hey Hey Bill Cosby Has Released a Video Statement

Yes Virginia, there is a Cosby Show.  USA Today posted this new video that comedian Bill Cosby has sent out to his fans. It looks like Cosby is trying to get back to the 1970’s with an odd setup that includes a rotary phone and a message that harkens back to his old 1970’s character, Fat Albert.  His important message says,

“Dear Fans: I hope you enjoy my wonderful video message that’s filled with laughter. Hey, hey, hey, I’m far from finished.”

“Hey Hey Hey” of course is Fat Albert’s trademark catch semi-phrase. Continuing with the 70’s gimmick, Cosby is using an old fashioned rotary phone, sitting in what appears to be a quickly thrown together set of an old 70’s chair and a weird blue curtain that looks like a rental.  And he seems to want us to think he’s just sitting home in his pajamas making a phone call to a friend.  He tells his fan/friend that ‘yes, the Virginia show is still on’ and it’s going to be ‘hilarious.’

You would think that Bill would have learned to stop trying to use social media after his last giant fail when he tried to get a fun little meme contest going.  Good luck with this one B.
