Heroin May Be Back, But Cocaine Is Also More Popular
Between 2013 and 2015, the number of young people admitting to doing cocaine jumped 61%. The Northeast had the largest number of users as well. It’s being attributed to Colombia having a large coco crop in the past few years. This could all lead to an artisanal cocaine boom the likes of which hasn’t been seen since the 70’s.
