Here Are The American Monuments That Never Were

An artist digitally rendered a number of American monuments that were proposed to be built but never got off the launch pad. Mount Rushmore was supposed to have torsos, a Statue of Liberty for the west coast was planned and a monument to Native Americans was approved for Staten Island among others. An expansion to South of the Border seems to have never even been discussed, which is odd.
